The creeks and rivers are lined with 35 different species of mangrove trees.  They form part of an eco system that is home for up to 15 species of tropical sportfish.  Here as your comfortable fishing platform moves along on electric power you will discover large mangrove trees that have toppled forming snags (under water brush) where species such as barramundi, mangrove jack (the ambush king), fingermark, estuary cod, giant trevally etc lie waiting to attack passing bait schools.
